a·près-ski /ˌäprāˈskē/ (noun) – French for “after ski,” “Après Ski” is defined as the activities following a day on the slopes, usually involving alcoholic beverages, a bar hangout, or a straight-up party.
If you’re ready for the ultimate weekday après, join us as we combine the outdoor bar, costumes, and live music into one big Mardi Gras Party on Tuesday, March 1st! Mardi Gras, French for “Fat Tuesday,” is the last day before the beginning of Lent and was made to indulge so come to Keystone Resort this Tuesday where we are ready to indulge in long ski runs, extravagant costumes, and cold drinks all afternoon.
Ski at Keystone Resort in the morning and then come off the mountain straight to our party, complete with an outdoor bar tent with beer from New Belgium Brewery and grab a cocktail—or maybe two. Be amazed at the stilt walkers roaming the party and get your groove on to dance music that will draw in families and spring break crews alike. Wear your sparkly dancing shoes; the party kicks off with a set from DJ Eminent, and continues with groovy live tunes from The Nacho Men.
Don’t forget to dress up in your most unique (and family friendly) Mardi Gras attire to compete in our costume contest, complete with cash prizes! Take your enthusiasm to the next level with free face painting (for guests of ALL ages!), then capture your spirits forever at the photo booth.
This event is free for all to attend, so don’t forget to invite all your friends. We’ll bring the beads, but the guests bring the true party! Plan ahead to make the most of the day by booking lodging onsite through Keystone or Summit Cove so you can party all the way back to your room. Put your boots on their driers, set your alarms, and get ready to après with us and indulge in all the seasonal pleasures that Keystone has to offer!
